To paraphrase C. William Pollard: "Effective leadership is about the people who follow and the subsequent nurturing and growth of these people in their faith to the point where they are able to multiply themselves in the lives of others."
There is only one limitation for most leaders (who have yet to discover their leadership potential) and that is the ability to subordinate themselves, become engaged and love the people that they are leading. You only truly lead when you lead by service to others.
Lastly, as a leader seeks to be a humble example for others, it's vital to remember that each action speaks volumes. If one is not willing to become as those they lead, the inability to relate overpowers those being lead and leaderships turns into ruling over the masses, a far different perspective.
